The BSL50U-XX is a heavy-duty, omnidirectional base station antenna custom-tuned to the required center frequency within the 45-75 MHz low-band range. It provides unity gain, a 1.5 MHz operating bandwidth, less than 1.5:1 VSWR, and a 250-watt power rating for fixed-site radio and communications systems.

Internal copper-alloy radiating elements are welded or soldered to help minimize intermodulation and are enclosed in a white, UV-inhibited fiberglass radome. A heavy-wall, epoxy-coated aluminum mounting sleeve and full moisture-drain system provide durable outdoor protection. The antenna is rated for wind speeds up to 125 mph (201 km/h) and terminates with an N-female connector.

The antenna measures 12 ft (3.6 m) long and weighs approximately 15 lb (6.8 kg). A center frequency from 45 to 75 MHz must be specified with the order. Mounting hardware is sold separately.
