The Comtelco BS896UWBT is a wideband omnidirectional base station antenna providing unity gain across 896–962 MHz. It is designed for fixed-site radio systems requiring consistent omnidirectional coverage throughout the specified frequency range. The antenna has a 50-ohm impedance and supports up to 250 watts.

Internal copper-alloy radiating elements are enclosed in a white, UV-inhibited fiberglass radome. A heavy-wall, epoxy-coated aluminum mounting sleeve provides additional protection for outdoor installations. The antenna measures 20 in (508 mm) long, weighs 3 lb (1.3 kg), and has a published wind rating of 125 mph (201 km/h).

This configuration includes a 12 in (305 mm) pigtail terminated with an N-female jack. The optional BSMNT2 mounting kit is sold separately.
