The OD5-5900MOD2 is a Omni-directional Antenna and it is popular because of its high-performance and rugged construction. These antennas can be used as a site antenna for the infrastructure side of a DSRC network.
The OD5-5900MOD2 can also be installed on large vehicles such as Heavy-Duty construction equipment. In addition, the antennas are constructed with conformal foam. The foam dampens the effect of these high vibration settings.
The base is irridited for weather protection and the antenna elements are enclosed in a durable fiberglass radome. The OD antennas normally terminate with a Female “N” Jack connector.
