The A1511A is a quarter wave antenna with a shock spring and a chrome plated finish.
These antennas are manufactured using the finest corrosion resistant materials and finishes available. They come with an integrated shock spring and a heavy duty polyester epoxy coated brass whip that is designed to withstand severe shock without suffering permanent damage.
The A1511 version provides 24MHz bandwidth at VHF frequencies and 100MHz bandwidth at UHF frequencies.
